Western Career College was formerly known as Silicon Valley College, it has three campus locations in California, they are in Emeryville, San Jose, and Walnut Creek. Western Career College was founded in Fremont, California in 1989 as an educational alternative to provide students with the education and knowledge needed to begin a successful career in CAD, graphics, business, information technology, and medical studies. Western Career College is approved by the Bureau for Private Post secondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE), and is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). Western Career College is an eligible institution approved by the United States Department of Education for participation in California Grant Programs, Federal Family Education Loan Program, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant, Federal Pell Grant, Vocational Rehabilitation Programs.
