The Praxis Institute
The Praxis Institute has two locations in Florida, one in Hialeah and the other in Miami. The Praxis Institute was founded in 1988 as America Duran Skin Care, Massage & Nail School, a private vocational school to provide training in the art of Skin Care. In 1991, The Praxis Institute expanded its scope of career education to include a Therapeutic Massage Training Program for state licensure by the Florida Board of Massage. The Praxis Institute is approved by the U.S. Department of Education to provide Title IV Funding. This allows qualified students of The Praxis Institute to apply for grants, student loans, and other federal programs. In addition the school also offers alternative financing options for students. When a students graduates from The Praxis Institute, their opportunities will be limited only by their ambition. Many of the graduates even go on to work for themselves and build a successful business around a job they love to do.
