Texas Careers has four campus locations in Texas in Beaumont, Laredo, Lubbock, and San Antonio. Texas Careers was founded as Moderncare, Inc. and taught the certified Nurse Aide program. Texas Careers received approval from the Texas Department of Health-Nurse Aide Registry and Training Program on April 12, 1989. The program was expanded on April 6, 1990 to include the certified Home Health Aide course. Today the Texas Careers school teaches healthcare, building trades, computing, and business. All Texas Careers students are encouraged to explore the availability of financial aid funding through state and federal agencies. Financial aid information and application assistance is provided by the school Financial Aid Office. The Texas Careers School's Career Services Department will assist eligible graduates in their job searches, including assistance with resume writing, interviewing, identifying job openings, and other job search activities. he final phase of study for some programs includes an externship experience. The externship allows our students to receive valuable on-the-job training from professionals in their chosen career fields.
