This degree prepares students for careers involving the Internet and focusing on marketing and design. This professional discipline integrates audio, video, still images, animation, text, and data for the delivery of interactive content either through CDROM or over the World-Wide Web. Course work typically begins with drawing and design, moving on to digital image courses, multimedia classes, sound, video, and animation. When these are mastered the student then progresses to more complex classes such as interactive information design, web development, and usability design.
