Missouri Tech has been preparing adult learners in new careers for over 70 years. This commitment to the students success and track record of success in preparing students for technical jobs since the day they opened. In 1932 Professor Charles J. Schwarz founded Missouri Tech to prepare students in the 'new' field called "radio". As technology advanced, the school also progressed, developing courses in television during the 1940's and computer technology in the 1980's. Today the school continues to update and refine its programs to prepare students for jobs into today's demanding technological fields. Missouri Tech has focused on helping students achieve their goals quickly so that they can begin their career and begin earning for the lifestyle of their dreams. As students progress through Missouri Tech's Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree program, the faculty and staff will assist in the quick development of technical and personal skills to build students into a leading engineers. Choose from several careers paths: network administration, information technology, software engineering, electronics engineering, and engineering management. Classes are kept small and the curriculum focused. This allows instructors to respond to each student as an individual learner. Employers will see the difference our education made in you.
