Medix School - Towson
Medix School - Towson is located in Towson, Marland offering Dental and Medical & Healthcare curricula. The Medix School is a private allied health training school committed to the training of students for the Medical and Dental professions. The School was founded by Jack Tolbert in 1969 and has been in continuous operation since that date. Medix School offers accredited career programs in Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant, and Medical Office Assistant. Surveys of area
employers, along with input from our advisory board are conducted to
ensure our training programs give each student the best possible preparation for a successful healthcare career. All career programs conclude with a five-week Externship allowing the students to practice
and perfect their skills in an authentic work environment. Students attending the Medix School may be eligible to receive loans or grants through one or more financial aid programs. Although every student may apply for financial aid, the amount and type that may be available will be dependent upon the financial need of the student. The Medix School Has In-House Job Placement and Career Counseling. Placement counseling is first provided during the last month of training by scheduled classroom lectures and individualized conferencing.
