With over 11,000 students enrolled, Everest University is currently one of the largest private universities in the state of Florida. Everest College's Tampa Campus traces its roots back to 1890, making it the oldest business college in the state. The University is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award associate’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees. The schools offers a variety of financial aid programs that are designed to provide assistance to students who are currently enrolled or accepted for enrollment, but whose financial resources are inadequate to meet the full cost of their education. All financial aid is awarded on the basis of need, regardless of sex, age, race, color, religion, creed, or national origin. Everest College students have the option and may request tutoring by their respective instructors or through the Academic Dean. The college understands the importance of tutoring and, therefore, there is no additional charge for this service.
