Everest Institute's full-time placement staff is dedicated to assisting students with resume preparation, interviewing skills, and full-time employment opportunities. Day and evening classes are available, which allows adult students to work full-time. Everest Institute's programs are designed to prepare students for employment in today’s careers. Everest Institute was established in 1955. A leader right from the start, we are proud to have been the first college in Oregon to offer data processing skills as well as hands-on classroom training with actual computer equipment. Our steady growth has kept in step with an expanding job market. We have moved four times, consistently upgrading to larger, state-of-the-art facilities. Today, we are proud to continue our tradition of providing students with cutting-edge curriculums and necessary resources to succeed in the ever-changing employment market. A new branch of our school was established in Vancouver, Washington in 1979. Our goal was to meet the growing employment needs of Southwest Washington. The campus moved to its current location in 1998. Due to rapid growth and increasing educational demands, the school was expanded in 2001. Our current facility boasts 16,000 square feet of space. Our Everest Institute campuses offer programs such as : accounting, accounting / business administration, administrative assistant, administrative medical assistant, advanced microcomputer applications, automated office technology, bookkeeping, executive assistant, legal administrative assistant, medical assistant, medical insurance billing / coding, microcomputer applications, operations specialist, paralegal / legal assistant, pharmacy technician, receptionist / general office assistant, travel / hospitality administration and travel / hospitality management. The mission of Everest Collegeis to provide quality, job- relevant career training designed to prepare men and women of all ages to enter, prosper in, and meet the needs of the employment community. Everest Institute believes that the preparation for students to participate in the working community is an important and vital service to society. Financial Aid is available for those who qualify. Many families incorrectly assume that if they own a home or have an above-average income, they won't qualify for financial aid.
