City College was originally founded in 1896 as Draughon's College of Business and in 1987 became known as City College. The college has campus locations in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. City College offers a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration, as well as Associate of Science degrees programs in Accounting, Broadcasting, Management, Computer Applications, Hospitality, Private Investigation, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Medical Assistant, Medical Office Administration, Emergency Medical Services, Paramedic, and Legal Assistant/Paralegal. The school participates in a variety of financial aid programs which qualified students can use to pay for their educational and living expenses while attending school. These include state and federal grants, scholarships, student loans, and work study programs. The College provides all graduates with Career Assistance. Our Director of Career Assistance and Development assists graduates to obtain the best position in keeping with their preferences, talents, and special skills. The Career Assistance and Development Office provides arrangements for personal interviews between students and businesses, advises the student how to contact other representatives of industry or government agencies, retains student's credentials on a permanent basis and assists him/her as an alumnus in obtaining or changing employment.
