At Charter College, active learning is provided through hands-on laboratory classroom environments. Labs include a wide range of state-of-the-art equipment and software applications that are utilized in today’s corporate enterprise networks. Students have the opportunity to learn with these technologies. Charter features some of the latest software titles, including Microsoft Office XP with Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, FrontPage, and Project, Windows 2000 Server, Linux, Novell NetWare, AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio, Macromedia, Medical Manager, Peachtree Accounting and Quickbooks. Charter’s software library is regularly updated to provide the latest in application offerings and software versions. Charter College also offers two Bachelor’s degree programs - Information Technology Engineering or Business Management and Technology with industry-recognized certification. With Charter College’s career placement program you get the added benefit of having our knowledgeable staff assisting you in your job search. Charter College is conveniently located in Midtown Anchorage, Alaska on the corner of Lake Otis and Northern Lights at 2221 East Northern Lights Blvd. The administrative offices are in Suite 120. Charter College maintains a professionally staffed Office of Career Counseling and Job Placement for full time students and graduates of the college.
