Electrical Engineering Technicians
March 8, 2008
Electrical Engineering Technicians use the principles and theories of science, engineering, and mathematics to solve technical problems in research and development, and manufacturing.
Many engineering technicians assist electrical engineers and scientists, especially in research and development. Others work in quality control—inspecting products and processes, conducting tests, or collecting data. In manufacturing, they may assist in product design, development, or production. After earning an electrical engineering technology degree online or at a campus program professionals in this field will continue taking distance learning programs in electrical engineering technology or attend campus programs or classes in engineering technology. They may earn a bachelors in Electrical Engineering Technology or go onto to earn a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. Read more
