Career Centers of Texas
Career Centers of Texas trains adult learners in healthcare careers. Campuses are located in Brownsville, Corpus Christi, El Paso, and Fort Worth. Programs offered include dental assisting, electrician, insurance processor, medical assistant, medical administration, pharmacy technician, and surgical technologist. Career Centers of Texas was founded in 1985 as a branch of San Antonio College of Medical & Dental Assistants. The School Career Services Department will assist eligible graduates in their job search, including assisting with resumes , interviewing, finding job openings, and other job hunt activities. Career services are available to all eligible graduates. The final phase of study for some programs includes an externship experience. The externship allows the students to receive valuable on-the-job training from professionals in their career field.
