ATI Advanced Technology Institute
ATI Advanced Technology Institute offers NATEF and ASE certified career programs in Automotive, Diesel/Heavy Vehicles, High Performance Vehicles, HVAC and Refrigeration, Ford Maintenance and Light Repair, and Commercial Driving. Financial aid and job placement assistance is available to help you achieve success. Housing is also available in beautiful, sunny Virginia Beach, Virginia for single students under 21. Program prepare students to enter the job market in "in demand" jobs, where they will find solid careers and strong earning potential. Some training programs can be completed in as little as 8 weeks. This school has several progressive programs to help students finance the cost of obtaining this education. Training Programs
Automotive Technology: Students learn all aspects of the automobile from tires and suspension to computers and diagnostics, they also learn every aspect of automotive maintenance and repair in ATI's NATEF/ASE Master Certified Automotive Technology Programs. Some of the highlights include: Bumper-To-Bumper Training covering every System; ASE/Ford-Plus Training; and NATEF/ASE Master Certified Auto Tech Training.
Commercial Driving: ATI provides commercial truck driver training in the Virginia Beach area. Instruction includes Tractor-Trailer Truck Driving. Range, road and classroom in just 8 weeks. Training includes local/regional/Over-the-Road training; High quality instruction; Small Classes; Fast training programs; Thousands of Employers; Tuition Reimbursement; and financing is available.
Diesel/Heavy Vehicle Technology: Training programs teach all aspects from tractors and trailers to off the road construction equipment, from harvesting the country's crops to powering large yachts and motor vessels, ATI's large shop is equipped with engines from 400 to 12,000 pounds, a wide variety of manual and automatic transmissions, complete tractor-trailers, and a full-service fuel injection shop. The rewards are great and the opportunities are plentiful.
Ford MLR Training: The Ford MLR (Maintenance and Light Repair) program is an alliance among Ford Motor Company and various community colleges and technical schools. The MLR program gives you access to opportunities in profitable and rewarding careers. Advanced Technology has incorporated the Ford MLR Training into its' curriculum. ATI automotive students will be trained to universal (all-brands) standards of NATEF-ASE (in a NATEF-Master Certified School) and in addition will have the opportunity to receive this highly specialized Ford training.
HVAC: The training program is Fully Accredited, an authorized ESCO and Nate Testing center, and is now offering EPA approved refrigerant handling certification, ATI's program is among the best available. ATI's shop areas contain everything from 12 ton commercial air conditioning systems to window air conditioning units. Learn all Heating Systems/Pumps; Air-Conditioning; Refrigeration Systems; and # Commercial and Residential.
School of High Performance: This program will provide students with the knowledge and skills required for entry-level employment as a repair technician in a modern performance shop and pit crew positions on the racing circuits. Students receive laboratory and classroom training using modern test equipment and specialized tools and gain hands-on experience in a realistic shop setting where they must demonstrate specific proficiencies and safety procedures. Two education tracks are available: ASE Core & High Performance and ASE/Ford Core & High Performance.
